Is the dining room one of the most important spaces in your stylishly designed home? If so, our small, antique sideboard may be just the focal point you need to showcase your carefully collected or inherited china, stemware, and silverware.
Laurel Crown proudly takes part in the longstanding tradition of handcrafting furniture. Our talented craftsmen carve, sand, and finish each small mahogany sideboard by hand using plantation-grown Honduran mahogany, because it was favored by Thomas Sheraton. The lovely reddish-brown hue of mahogany tends to darken over time and, when polished with our signature satin semi-gloss finish, take on an even more magnificent shade of red. Our small antique buffet features a gracefully curved top, serpentine shape, and slenderly reeded legs in imitation of Classical columns.
With a dinner party just hours away, our small antique sideboard will save you from scrambling for serving pieces, table linens, candles, and other accouterments. Every credenza we build features two central drawers as well as two large side compartments for storing larger odds and ends, all of which is accented with antiqued brass cabinet pulls that nod to a neoclassical past.
You can even customize our small antique sideboard to suit your home:
- Keep the buffet raw or add a white-washed finish for a unique look
- Change the dimensions to suit a specific space in your dining room
- Stain to match cherry, oak, pine, rosewood, walnut, or other wood tones
Though the small mahogany sideboard was originally created for the dining room, it can also be used to create a cleaner workspace, organize toys in the playroom, or provide a place to store keys in the entryway. However you decide to use your small antique buffet, we are confident that it will add a tremendous about of elegance to your home. Please let us know if you have any questions about customization.
