From 1800 to 1837, handcrafted furniture borrowed elements from Egyptian, Greek, and Roman architecture. Furnishings of this time period were also made of dark, heavy wood and featured simple yet striking designs.

Every Regency-style armchair that we painstakingly reproduce is made from the finest plantation-grown Honduran mahogany, which boasts a beautiful brown hue that tends to darken over time. South American mahogany also offers a pleasing straight grain, which we have accentuated with a stunning satin semi-gloss finish. Every detail has been carved, sanded, and finished entirely by hand, including the saber-shaped back legs, turned front legs, flat crest, scroll arms, molded apron, and decorative rail with a rosette carving.
