This straight back chair, also known as a chaise à la reine, has been replicated by our master craftsmen from an authentic Louis XV antique. Hand painted and hand carved with lovely cane backing, this chair will bring a touch of French class and history to your dining room or living room. Notice the painted flower appliqués on the top and front rails, the knees, and the cabriole legs with scroll feet characteristic of French furniture during this period. Needless to say, it is also very comfortable to sit in with its wide seat and coil spring cushion. The upholstery is a striped ivory jacquard with laced edging. The frame is solid mahogany wood that has been distressed.
