Using the finest plantation-grown Honduran mahogany, our talented craftsmen carve, sand, and finish each detail by hand until the distinctive bergère armchair comes to fruition just as we envisioned. Honduran mahogany is beloved for its pleasing straight grain and a reddish-brown hue that tends to darken over time. To heighten the warmth of mahogany, we polish each French bergère chair with a satin semi-gloss finish.
