Beds   >>>   FAQ

I am interested in getting more information about the Sophie sleigh, mostly just pictures.
I am most interested in the rails and headboard, i.e. how secure it is. I would hate to buy it just to have it loosen up in a year.

Answers:
How durable and sturdy a bed is depends on the Joints which join all main components of the bed.
Please select the joint (A), (B), and (C) below for details. (Joints mentioned here apply to all kind of our beds.)
(A): Bolt and Hook Joint,
each at the four corner of the bed.
Side rail locks into the headboard or footboard by hooks. Further secure by tightening the bolt provided.

(B): Center Support, one for Queen, and two for King size bed.
Dovetail joint on both ends so to lock and secure the headboard and footboard,

(C): Center Slat,
Dovetail joint on both ends so to lock and secure both the side rails of the bed.

(D): Slats,
Place across the bed to create a platform for supporting the mattress, or box-spring with mattress.
